GiMeSpace Desktop Extender 3D

GiMeSpace Desktop Extender 3D is the deluxe version of the Desktop Extenders. It uses the latest Areo theme desktop technology present in Windows Vista and 7.So it does not work on XP or server 2003!
Like in the standard edition you can scroll left-right, up-down. But now you can also zoom in and out seamless. So you can navigate your desktop in 3 dimensions!
Zooming in is usefull to see details on your screen more clearly. Zooming out is usefull to see the whole overview of your desktop and to see a whole window if that window is bigger then your screen. Windows are scaled down but it is still possible to work with your windows while you are in 'zoomed' mode!
Note that the best improvement idea for GiMeSpace Desktop Extender 3D will be rewarded with a live time license on a GiMeSpace product including future updates. Use Idea Informer widget to submit your feedback and do not forget to fill in your name and e-mail – otherwise the Developer will not be able to contact you in case you are the one to win!

Make your program’s control panel have a taskbar icon! I don’t like to have to minimise windows to reach it!

Add a zoomable mini map that remains permanently on one of the corners of the visible desktop so that you can locate where hidden windows are; to go to the specific window just click on the map

Also enable the user to jump to any window by clicking on the mini map plan and be able to change the opaqueness/density of the map so that it doesn't distract from the main windows maybe even have it sitting in the task bar where it...

Enable scrolling only when you press and hold the mouse button - it's rather disconcerting when I place my mouse on the perimeter of the window and it then scrolls.

or a user selected key

Include a lock so that you can define the boundary of your expanded desktop.

I found it rather disconcerting when my browser window disappeared though the desktop icons stayed where they were.

Add a help documentation that is more helpful, less verbose, and that contains more pictures. Better still, add a link to a video tutorial that shows you keypress events, etc.

Open program’s control panel on first run, or the help file, if you are going to improve it.

Improve the main GUI interface - as it stands it looks outdated and boring.

Include an interface in the control panel that presents the user with various desktop shapes that you can increase in size before selection much like you increase the size of a window (by grabbing a corner or edge).

This would allow you to see what shape your desktop will be

Change it to something similar like in Linux and Compiz, where you have a cube for the different Desktops and much nicer eye-candy.

The ability to map a location to a key would be nice. You can save a certain point by pressing Ctrl+F1, Ctrl+F2, etc and then go back to it by pressing Alt+F1, Alt+F2 Etc.

Enable the scrolling of the window when you take your mouse to the perimeter of the display to be slowed down via the control panel. As it is at the moment the desktop moves too fast.
